Valles: We're seeing very positive things, and the team has shown it can go toe-to-toe with any opponent
UD Las Palmas' goalkeeper highlighted that the team is in good shape and confident in the work we're doing, in our form and style. We continue to correct minor mistakes, and results will come sooner rather than later.
Álvaro Valles spoke at a press conference ahead of the match against Sevilla FC. He mentioned about the upcoming opponent, "They've been in the elite for many years; they are a tough rival, especially at their home ground. We'll play our game and aim for our first victory."
Here are some of his statements:
"The team is playing very well; we just need to be more accurate in front of the goal at certain moments. Clear scoring opportunities are being created."
"Personally, I'm very happy and delighted that the coach is trusting me to be the starter. I'll keep working to contribute as much as possible to the team. When everyone believes in you, it gives you peace of mind and confidence."
"When you go to your hometown (Seville), it's always special; it's something that makes you happy because you don't always have the chance for your entire family to watch you play."
"Aarón is a great goalkeeper, and we both push each other to raise our level; there's healthy competition."
"It's clear that the team has competed on an equal footing with all the opponents we've faced. Adaptation is going well; we just need to be more accurate."
