UD Las Palmas Launches "Pink Is My Color" Campaign to Raise Awareness on the Importance of Early Detection in Breast Cancer Treatment

UD Las Palmas, through its Foundation, is launching a campaign in recognition of World Breast Cancer Awareness Day. The club is temporarily replacing its usual "Yellow Is My Color" motto with "Pink Is My Color" to support early detection and to raise funds for the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and the Canary Association for Breast and Gynecological Cancer (ACCMYG).

There are no reactions yet. Be the first!

As part of this initiative, UD Las Palmas is selling charity t-shirts for 7 euros and bracelets for 1 euro, with all proceeds going directly to the two associations. These items are now available at the club’s official store (Estadio Gran Canaria, during regular hours)

UD Las Palmas aims to rally its fans to turn the Estadio de Gran Canaria pink during their next match against Girona FC, sending a message of hope and solidarity to all women battling this disease. During the match, the players will wear an all-pink kit in tribute to the cause.

This special kit will also be available for purchase in a limited edition at the club’s official store soon. To further the goal of turning the Estadio Gran Canaria pink for the Girona FC match, the club is selling these charity t-shirts and bracelets, with all funds raised going to the Spanish Association Against Cancer and the Canary Association for Breast and Gynecological Cancer.
