The World Travel Market in London, the most important international tourism fair globally, opened its doors this Monday and will run until November 8. UD Las Palmas, in a further step to showcase its brand to the world, has returned for the second consecutive year to the prestigious fair, positioned at the Canary Islands' stand.
Patricio Viñayo, general manager of UD Las Palmas, Noelia Pérez, marketing director, Lucas Bravo de Laguna, commercial director, and Daniel Rendón, international marketing, attended the WTM and the Canary Islands' stand inauguration. They were joined by the President of the Canary Islands Government, Fernando Clavijo, the President of the Gran Canaria Cabildo, Antonio Morales, and Carlos Álamo, the Insular Tourism Adviser, among other dignitaries.
Undoubtedly, British tourism has become one of the most crucial markets on which Gran Canaria Tourism has focused, aiming to establish Gran Canaria as the preferred tourist destination for the British. This is why UD Las Palmas is working on its international expansion strategy in collaboration with Gran Canaria Tourism to draw this market to the Gran Canaria Stadium as one of the leisure alternatives for tourists during their stay on the island.
