Scott McKenna joins UD Las Palmas

The Scottish center-back joins on a free transfer from Nottingham Forest, signing with the yellow team until June 30, 2027.

UD Las Palmas strengthens its defense with the arrival of Scott McKenna (11/12/1997, Kirriemuir, Scotland), following an agreement for the next three seasons.

McKenna is an experienced player who started in the youth ranks of Aberdeen FC. He made his debut with the first team in 2016, the same year he debuted internationally for Scotland. In 2020, he was transferred to Nottingham Forest, where he played 106 matches. In January of this year, he was loaned to FC Copenhagen, where he stayed until the end of the season. 

With 37 appearances for the Scotland National Team, including the recent Euro Championship, McKenna has played 82 games in the Premiership, 69 in the Championship, and 25 in the Premier League, among other competitions.

The new yellow defender is known for his aerial ability, strength, aggression, character, and speed.
