García Pimienta praised the work done today at Mendizorroza, where UD Las Palmas secured an important victory: "Alavés has a great team and wants to win with their strengths; they pressed us a lot. That's where we changed our approach; the intention was to possess the ball from the back, and they pressed us high."
UD Las Palmas bagged three points at the always challenging Estadio Mendizorroza. The yellow coach, García Pimienta, spoke after the match and highlighted: "Alavés is a team that plays with judgment and puts you under pressure. Today, we had to play when we had the ball and defend like animals when we didn't. I'm content because this team knows how to play and defend when necessary."
