Match Against Girona Turns Pink to Support Early Detection of Breast Cancer
In support of World Breast Cancer Day, UD Las Palmas, through its Foundation, has launched a special awareness campaign. The club will swap its usual motto "Yellow Is My Color" for "Pink Is My Color" to promote early detection and raise funds for the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and the Canary Association for Breast and Gynecological Cancer (ACCMYG).
As part of the initiative, the club is selling solidarity T-shirts for €7 and bracelets for €1, with all proceeds going directly to the two associations. These products are available at the club’s official store at Estadio Gran Canaria during regular hours.
UD Las Palmas encourages its fans to fill the stadium with pink during the game against Girona FC, sending a message of hope and solidarity to women battling this disease.
