Benito Ramírez (La Aldea de San Nicolás, Gran Canaria, 11th July 1995) will have a first team contract with UD Las Palmas. The club has amended his contract clause so as to include him in the first team squad.
Benito played for Las Palmas Atlético last season, and was a key member of the team that recovered well to stay up in the 2ª División B league, under the orders of trainer Juan Manuel Rodríguez. He actually trained with the first team for most of last season, and featured in the matches UD Las Palmas played against Atlético de Madrid, Villarreal, Levante and Girona.
The left-footed midfielder will join team mates in the first few days of July, alongside new manager Manolo Jiménez, to kick off pre-season training.
