Juan José Narváez Solante (San Juan de Pasto, 12th February 1995) is an attacking midfielder. The 24 year old was born in Colombia and belongs to Real Betis Balompié and comes to UD Las Palmas on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Juanjo Narváez arrived in Spain in 2012, signed by Real Madrid from Colombian side Deportivo Pasto, following a recommendation by Zinedine Zidane. He played in the youth set-up at Madrid before signing for Betis in the 2015-2016 season. Two seasons later he made his debut in the first division against FC Barcelona in the Camp Nou.
Over the last couple of seasons he has played on loan at Córdoba and Almería, so he is well acquainted with the second division. For Almería last season he got on the scoresheet against UD Las Palmas, netting one of his side's three goals.
Narváez is an attacking midfielder to can play around the penalty box, as well as out wide. His arrival in Gran Canaria is expected on Sunday morning at 7.50 from Sevilla. The player will be unveiled tomorrow after his team's training session at the Ciudad Deportiva in Barranco Seco (at around 12.30).
