Manolo Jiménez assessed the work his team put in against Albacete, and pointed out that “the team played a decent match. We lost our way for about ten minutes and we were incomprehensibly on the back foot”. The manager explained it wasn’t down to fitness, rather a psychological matter, “the fear of conceding a goal affected us a lot”.
“When we let in the goal we reacted well but it was just too late” said Manolo Jiménez in reference to the positive aspects he saw in his team.
Tana made his season debut and his manager was pleased because “he is involved and that is great news. We need him in top form because we expect a lot from him”. As for future signings coming to the club, Jiménez pointed out, “I am concentrating only on our current players”.
