UD Las Palmas coach Luis Carrión said in a press conference, "It’s very important to head into the break with a win, but it won’t be an easy match. They have good players, but we are ready to win."

Speaking on Friday before the match against RC Celta, the yellow team coach stated that he doesn’t feel “any more pressure than usual, it’s always the same. We haven’t managed to win yet, but we’ve worked hard, and tomorrow we’ll go out to win. I’m eager to put in a good performance and get the victory tomorrow. I’ve been thinking a lot about what to do and how to hurt the opponent. We watch a lot of games to ensure everything goes well. Naturally, when things aren’t going right, you see more changes in the team. Everyone has a chance to play,” he added.

Here are some of his key statements:

"In the first half of the last game, they didn’t create much against us. We had three clear chances pressing high. In the second half, we tried to protect the lead, and that’s when they created more. If we play with fear, we’re a worse team. That’s been proven by everything I’ve seen in the games."

"I understand that bad results hurt confidence, but that’s not the case for me. I’m sure the win will come tomorrow if we do what we need to do."

"I’m not worried about any specific opponent. We are capable of stopping players like Iago Aspas or Borja Iglesias from having their chances. We’re prepared, and hopefully, things go our way tomorrow."

"My situation is that I feel full support from the players and the club. I don’t live in fear of what will happen if things go wrong; I think about what will happen if things go well."

"I believe some players lack self-confidence. When you experience so many negative situations in sports, you start to feel like everything will go wrong. We need to change that mindset, and I’m trying everything I can. A win will definitely help, and tomorrow has to be the day."
