Luis Carrión: "We need to attack more and better"

UD Las Palmas coach stated that Athletic "is still a good team that is doing things well. With our strengths, we will try to hurt them and beat them."

Luis Carrión spoke in the press conference ahead of the match against Athletic Club, where he mentioned, "We always visualize what we think the opponent might do. In the case of Athletic, they have a lot of variability. We've worked on how to press them better so they don't have chances to do what they do best."

Here are some of his remarks:

"We've analyzed each game differently. In Vitoria, we didn't defend some situations well, and we've tried to address that."

"I'm not thinking too much about what happened before. It's four games without a win, and that's the reality. We need to do much more. We're ready to play a good game on Sunday, and the result will be winning three points."

"The break felt a bit long for me, and I was eager for the weekend to arrive. I'm confident that things will go well on Sunday."

"We'll probably attack more and better. There haven't been many chances because we haven't been finishing our plays. It's very hard to win a game if we concede two goals, but we must finish our plays, attack like we did against Madrid."

"Javi Muñoz is a top-level player in every sense. For any coach, it's easy to see what he can bring to the team. He's crucial; he gets into good positions, has great energy, and I hope he continues at this level."
