Luis Carrión: "I feel that with a little more, we could have won"

The coach evaluated the team's performance: "Today we were quite solid defensively. In the second half, we were more tired, and there were moments where Madrid created imbalances."

There are no reactions yet. Be the first!

Luis Carrión spoke to the media in the press room after the match against Real Madrid. The coach remarked, "The atmosphere at Gran Canaria was incredible, with support until the end. Everyone gave their all, and it's impossible not to be happy from the stands. Psychologically, it's a point gained. We'll aim to have a good game next and go for the three points. It would be great to finish this part of the calendar with five points."

Some of his comments:

"Our first half was very good; we were in control. In the second half, we were less sharp with the ball. But we had the chance to go 2-0 up, though our 2-1 goal was later disallowed. It's a good point, but I think with a bit more, we could have won."

"Campaña was excellent. The three in midfield—Kirian, Javi Muñoz, and Campaña—were very good. All of them had a solid performance."

"McBurnie did a great job. He struggled defensively but was effective offensively during his time on the pitch."

"A team that can achieve this is a good team. The sporting management is working on the market's closing. If there's an opportunity to improve the squad, we will."
