Luis Miguel Carrión Delgado (02/07/1979, Barcelona) and UD Las Palmas have joined forces for the start of a new season in LALIGA EA SPORTS. The Catalan coach is contracted with the yellow team until June 30, 2026.

With a playing philosophy that aligns with the model established at the club, Luis Carrión is known for his offensive style through ball possession.

After his playing career, which included stints in the FC Barcelona youth system and teams like Nástic, Córdoba, Terrassa, Melilla, and Deportivo Alavés, he began his coaching career with RCD Espanyol Femenino. He then went on to manage Córdoba CF, UD Melilla, CD Numancia, FC Cartagena, and Real Oviedo, where he started the 2023/24 season, leading them to the promotion playoffs for La Liga, and reached the Play-Off final. Under his leadership, the Asturian club achieved direct promotion numbers.

UD Las Palmas entrusts him with the team's management with the goal of securing their place in the league by prioritizing the collective over individual brilliance. This approach will enhance the value of emerging players and provide continued opportunities for homegrown talent.
