Luis Carrión: "We will never be conservative; we need to be better offensively."

The Las Palmas coach emphasized that "we need to keep evolving throughout LaLiga; what works in matchday 1 might not be effective by matchday 10."

Ahead of the match against CD Leganés, Carrión noted that the team had a "good week of training, analyzing the last game and working on improvements." Speaking about the opponent, he added, "Leganés is a well-organized team, and that's why they got promoted. They played a solid match in Pamplona, so it won’t be easy, but we’re going in aiming for all three points."

Some of his statements included:

"The Sevilla match was generally good, but we need to improve both defensively and offensively."

"Some players will have to leave; we've had individual talks with them. Enrique, for instance, is a top guy who needs to play. He's under contract, but we can’t afford to have players sitting idle."

"We need to improve a lot more; there's room for growth. One issue I noticed is that we tried to attack too quickly at times, which left us unprepared to defend."

"Possession is good, but we want to attack without spreading out too much. I want the team to always have the opponent's goal in mind and be focused on attacking."

"We will never be conservative; we need to be better defensively. The team isn’t built for a conservative approach to be its best version."

"Every match presents different challenges from the opponent. Sevilla matched us in certain aspects, but I expect something different from Leganés. They’re a team that knows how to stay compact and wait. Our focus should be on how to hurt them."

"Sandro is very talented, and I believe he’ll score many goals. When he's near the goal, he’s one of the best we have at finishing. He’s crucial to the squad."
