Adnan Januzaj was introduced this morning as the new player for UD Las Palmas in the press room at Ciudad Deportiva. The new yellow signing highlighted that "Las Palmas is a team that loves to play with the ball. I think this year could be very special due to the quality of the group. I really liked what I saw in today's training session."
Here are some of his statements:
"Talent never fades; I was born with it and I come with a lot of desire to play and have a great season. I feel good physically. Obviously, I need to get to know the team better, but I have also completed pre-season training in Sevilla."
"I like playing in any position. I’m versatile, and what I want is to help the team."
"I want to regain my best version as a player, and I’m convinced that I will. Players like Willian José and De la Bella spoke highly of the club, and it wasn’t difficult to decide to come. Pimienta also told me that Las Palmas is a good destination for my football. I want to show everything I can still do; I believe I could be at the best moment of my career."
"I don’t feel pressure. In the end, we need to try to win every match, and if we start applying pressure, it will be difficult. We need to stay positive."
