Iván Gil was presented this morning in the press room of the Sports City, where he expressed his excitement about joining UD Las Palmas: "The first days have been very good, my teammates have welcomed me very well, and I am very happy."

Regarding the reason for his decision to join the yellow team, Iván indicated that "their style of play and ball handling is a style that matches what I am looking for to enjoy playing football and continue growing as a footballer."

These were some of his statements:

"My feelings about the coach are very positive, we are alternating sessions to get into competition rhythm, and in Marbella, we will start increasing the intensity with the matches."

"I consider myself a very versatile player, I feel comfortable playing inside, and from there, I can link up, receive between the lines, and attack.

"When you arrive in this top-flight environment at a club like Las Palmas, I could say that the preseason feels long, I am very eager to start the league and help the team."

"Eder Sarabia is a coach who helped me a lot to adapt to this style of play, he spoke very well of Las Palmas and told me I would be very happy here."

"Players like Enzo, Moleiro, or Sandro I like a lot, but you can't just focus on three because they are all very good."

"What I see from the team is the style of play, it is very attractive, and when they get past the three-quarter line, they go for the goal, and that is what has taken them to the top."
