Garcia Pimienta held a press conference at the Ciutat de Valencia Stadium before the match against Levante UD. Concerning the losses in the yellow squad, the coach stated that he will be unable to line up Vitolo, who is still facing difficulties, as well as Benito, which adds to the injuries suffered by Sandro and Valles. Marc and Andone have trained well, and I'm hoping for no more surprises in the remaining training session."
The coach stated that the entire winning run we had through the first twelve rounds of the league was not so typical considering the quality of the category and that UD would make an effort to go back to the positive dynamics of outcomes. We now have 27 points, which is where we want to be. Regardless of what happens on Sunday, there are still a lot of points up for grabs, he continued.
"You see Levante's prospective line-up and they are all First Division players, they play at home and arrive on a wonderful run," he says of the rival. The team is prepared, we are on the right track, and we continue to think that what we are doing is correct. His flaw is that we will be ourselves."
Regarding potential rotations, he added, "When we pick the lineup, we will do it thinking about the timing of each player, we don't want to take risks." In reference to the goal, he said, "it is a matter that we have to consider tomorrow. Cendón is the goalkeeper who comes in adaptively from the first team, but naturally it is something agreed with the base team because we do not want any of them to stand still. We will see if we alternate with Moha.
Garcia Pimienta ended by stating that the team is focused entirely on Sunday's game: "We want to win against Levante, and the derby bothers me absolutely nothing right now. I have no doubt that the supporters will respond, but at this point I don't know who I can count on, and Sunday's match will be in high demand ".
