Fidel Chaves de la Torre ( born 27th October 1989, Minas de Riotinto, Huelva, España) is the latest UD Las Palmas player to put pen to paper, for the next three seasons.
The winger learnt his trade in the youth system at Recreativo de Huelva. Having played for a range of different of Spanish clubs, including Elche and Córdoba, he signed for Almería in the 2016/2017 season. Last season he played a total of 31 games in the LaLiga 123, Spain’s second division.
Fidel is landing today on the island from Seville. He will undergo his medical tomorrow morning at 09.30 at the Hospital Perpetuo Socorro, and will be unveiled at the press room of the Estadio Gran Canaria later on at 13.00.
