Inter Milan defeated UD Las Palmas 3-0 in a friendly match held at the Dino Manuzzi Stadium in Cesena before 12,000 spectators. The Italian side, the champions of their country, were dominant in the first half, securing a 2-0 lead. In the second half, the Yellow team came closer to challenging the Italian defense, creating enough chances to potentially reduce the final scoreline (3-0).

Luis Carrión’s players faced an uncomfortable scenario against the Italian team, which had established a strong midfield presence. In the first 10 minutes, the island defenders were busy with several shots and the opening goal scored by Taremi.

The play started with a distant steal and quick transition. Taremi was fouled by Juanma, and the referee didn’t hesitate to award a penalty. Taremi converted the spot-kick for Inter.

Las Palmas took several minutes to connect their plays, making goalkeeper Josep Martínez work, but lacking the depth and danger of their rivals.

The score went to 2-0 before halftime. Inter executed an excellent attack down their left flank, with Taremi finishing the move close to goal, sending the ball past goalkeeper Horkas.

Coach Luis Carrión made 10 substitutions at the start of the second half, leaving only Mika Mármol on the pitch while the rest of the positions had fresh players.

Las Palmas showed some improvement in their game during the second half. The most dangerous moment came in the 55th minute when Marvin Park entered the area with options but failed to score or connect with Sandro, who was calling for a pass.

Another goal was close to Josep Martínez’s goal in the 57th minute. Fabio stole the ball near the edge of the area, but his shot was blocked by the post. It was the fourth shot against the woodwork in the same number of summer friendlies.

Las Palmas managed to control the game better in the second half and continued to search for a goal to reward their efforts.

However, Inter’s counterattacks highlighted their danger. Cillessen prevented a one-on-one with Frattesi in the 78th minute but couldn’t stop the third goal, which came from a steal and a looping shot by Di Marco.
