Dário Essugo: “The Portuguese league is very good, but here will be better for my growth”

The new UD Las Palmas player stated during his presentation that “I know it’s motivating because I have a lot of room for growth. That’s why I came, to improve the consistency of my game. I know I’ll achieve that at Las Palmas.”

Dário Essugo, the new Yellow player, was introduced to the media at the Ciudad Deportiva press room. The new team member began his appearance by saying, “I know I can bring a more physical style of play to the team, with a lot of contact. I like to steal the ball and drive forward. I can provide defensive security, which is what I want—to help achieve the team’s goals.”

Here are some of his statements:

“I have good prospects. I’m in a new phase, far from home, and everything is different. I know it will be good for my growth, and I believe I will achieve great things here.”

“Family is the most important thing in my life; they are always with me wherever I go. They’ve always been close to me and give me the motivation to reach my goals.”

“I’ve watched the last two Las Palmas games. They like to have the ball, they’re enthusiastic, and it’s hard for the opponent to press them. That’s something I love about the team.”

“I was in Chaves for half a year. The Portuguese league is very good, but here will be better for my growth. It will help me improve on what I need to work on and highlight my strengths.”
