Coco: We all need to demand more of ourselves and contribute to scoring goals

There are no reactions yet. Be the first!

UD Las Palmas defender Saúl Coco appeared in the pre-match press conference ahead of the match against Girona FC on the upcoming Sunday. He emphasized that the opponent is "a very dynamic team, they like to possess the ball and play vertically. We'll have to be well-connected during ball transitions, they're strong in those situations." He added, "They are putting up good numbers, and we know we'll have to perform at our best to counter their play."

Here are some of his statements:

"I'm happy, it was a dream to debut in La Liga. I'm eager for many more matches."

"The transfer market being open after the competition starts means there are always rumors. Beyond that, what's important is focusing on what matters most and what's next, which is Girona. It will be a tough game. Being mentioned in transfer rumors is positive; it means you're doing things right. But I approach it with calmness."

"I have the coach's trust and the club's support. Having competition is good. I'll need to give my 100% to make it tough for the coach. The most important thing is for the team to get results, regardless of who's playing."

"I see my teammates in great shape. It's often blamed on the forwards for the lack of goals, but I believe it depends on the whole team. Focusing only on them is unfair."

"The team is calm. We know we're in a demanding and challenging league, but the three matches we've played so far have given us very positive feelings."
