Christian Rivera (Gijón, Asturias, 9th July 1997) has moved to CD Leganés on loan. The Madrid side reserve the right to buy the player outright, following today’s agreement. Rivera came to Las Palmas in the 2018/2019 season as a reinforcement in midfield, from SD Eibar, having previously turned out for FC Barcelona’s reserve side. His contract with UD Las Palmas runs until 2022.
Rivera started his football career at the youth set-up at Sporting de Gijón. In 2014 he signed for Real Oviedo, making his first team debut on 16th May 2015 against Coruxo. His first goal in professional football came on 17th October 2015, in his third game in the second division game between Real Oviedo and Alcorcón. He then signed for Eibear on 1st July 2016. Today he completed his loan move to CD Leganés.
