Álex Suárez: "If we're here, it's for a reason, the key is not to fear them."

The Gran Canarian center-back highlighted, ahead of Real Madrid's visit to the Estadio Gran Canaria, that "they have world-class players, but we need to go for the win from the moment the referee blows the whistle."

Álex Suárez spoke at the press conference ahead of the match against Real Madrid, which will be played this Thursday at the Estadio Gran Canaria at 8:30 PM. The yellow defender began by stating that the team "shouldn't be afraid of a team like Real Madrid; we're ready to go for the match and attack them."

Here are some of his statements:

"Against teams like this, you have little to lose. We'll try to be brave and use our strengths to hurt them".

"In Butarque, it was a bit more frustrating. In the second half, things weren't going our way, and we rushed. Leganés took advantage of their chances, and the game became an uphill battle."

"There's no formula to stop players like Vinícius or Mbappé. In the end, they're players just like us, and if we're here, it's for a reason. The key is not to fear them."

"Real Madrid is one of the best in the world, but it's eleven against eleven. Once the referee blows the whistle, we have to go for the win."

"It's an honor for us to be captains. We're trying to help the new guys settle in, make them feel comfortable, and show them the ropes, just like David García, Aythami Artiles, or Jonathan Viera did for us."
