Álex Muñoz: "We need to make a statement and fight back against this situation to start winning now"
The number 23 for the yellow team highlighted the players' motivation to push back against the recent results and to make a statement to turn the situation around.
UD Las Palmas defender, Álex Muñoz, spoke to the media on Friday morning at Barranco Seco, ahead of the match against Valencia, part of Matchday 10 of LALIGA EA SPORTS, which will be played at Mestalla.
Here are some of his statements:
“Diego is a very demanding coach who pays attention to details and lives the game with a lot of passion. He infects us with his positive mentality.”
“We are going in with a lot of intensity and giving 100%, paying close attention to the tactical level.”
“The system can change throughout the season. We all have a huge responsibility when we don’t have the ball. The reality is that there’s a lot of talent in the team. And with the ball, we need to give that extra push to be a more compact unit.”
“We’re not abandoning our style; with the ball, we have a lot of good qualities, and we need to continue to build on them. The change needs to happen when we don’t have the ball.”
“We were allowing transitions too easily, and we looked like a vulnerable team.”
