The RFEF 2030 World Cup Organizing Commission visits the Sports City
Representatives of the Royal Spanish Football Federation have taken a tour of the facilities of the Sports City, within the set of meetings that the Organizing Commission is carrying out in the different candidate cities to host the 2030 World Cup venues.
UD Las Palmas received members of the Royal Spanish Football Federation at its facilities, who this Monday are visiting different locations in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a candidate city to be one of the venues for the 2030 World Cup.
The RFEF delegation was accompanied on its tour by Patricio Viñayo, general director of the UD Las Palmas; Rubén Fontes, head of Infrastructure; Francisco Guerra, head of Facilities, Aridany Romero; Sports advisor of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria; and José Juan Arencibia, president of the Las Palmas Football Federation.
On this visit to the Sports City, representatives of the Royal Spanish Football Federation have been able to compare the information sent by UD Las Palmas about the facilities of the sports facility, as well as learn about the improvement projects in which the entity is involved. immersed, such as the beginning of work on the future residence for its players, which will be located in the central building, and will have capacity for 24 rooms and 47 guests.
