Slavoljub Srnić, (12/01/1992, Serbia), is the latest player to join UD Las Palmas. He has signed for the rest of this season plus two further seasons following the deal reached today between the yellows and his current club, Red Star Belgrade.
The midfielder has turned out for several different teams in the Serbia Superleague, such as Red Star Belgrade, where he started his career, and at Sopot and Cukaricki. He has played a total of 573 minutes so far this term, in which he has set up a goal and scored a goal in the league. He has also featured in the qualifying stages of this year’s Champions League, playing a total of 244 minutes. He was in the starting line-up for Red Star that defeated Liverpool 2-0. Srnić has also played for Serbia’s under 21s.
The player will be landing in Gran Canaria tomorrow at 14.55, on a flight from Frankfurt. He will undergo his medical at the Hospital Perpetuo Socorro and then be unveiled on Thursday at 11.00 in the press room at the Estadio Gran Canaria.
