This will be the first time UD Las Palmas plays a friendly in San Antonio, marking the 50th anniversary of the sister-city relationship between San Antonio and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Additionally, UD Las Palmas will be the first Spanish club to play at Toyota Field.
José Lizardo, director of Toyota Field and Ricos STAR Soccer Complex, expressed his excitement: "We are thrilled to host this match at Toyota Field and welcome UD Las Palmas to San Antonio. Having a club of their caliber is incredible, and we hope this game strengthens the bond between our cities."

San Antonio FC will open general ticket sales on Thursday, March 27, at 10:00 AM via Ticketmaster.
