LEGAL TERMS FOR CONTESTS AND RAFFLES
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE CONTEST
IDENTIFICATION OF THE ORGANIZING COMPANY
UD Las Palmas SAD (hereinafter, UD Las Palmas), with CIF A-35.314.350 and its registered office at C/Pío XII, 29 (35005 – Las Palmas de Gran Canaria), plans to conduct the raffle titled "DOUBLE TICKET + FLIGHTS + STAY UD Las Palmas vs Real Madrid," which is governed by the following conditions.
CONTEST OBJECTIVE
The Contest aims to raffle a double ticket to attend the upcoming football match between UD Las Palmas (home team) and Real Madrid (away team), including flights to and from the country of origin and accommodation in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
One (1) winner will be selected and provided with two tickets (for themselves and a guest), round-trip flights, and accommodation. On August 23, UD Las Palmas will announce the winner on its website and Instagram profile and will contact the winner via private message and/or provided contact details to explain the next steps.
The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, altered, or transferred. It is personal and non-transferable and will only be given to the winner.
CONTEST DURATION
The Contest starts on August 13 (11:00 Canary time) and ends on August 23 (10:00 Canary time). Participation is only allowed within this period.
UD Las Palmas reserves the right to modify the Contest duration, notify the change publicly via its official Instagram profile, and amend or change these terms and conditions, as well as postpone, interrupt, or terminate the Contest at any time.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
The Contest is open to anyone living in Europe and over 18 years old who has the legal capacity to participate and consent. Participants ("Contestants") must:
- Read these conditions
- Register on the UD Las Palmas website (www.udlaspalmas.es) and access the raffle landing page or, if applicable, participate through the raffle posted on the Instagram profile (choice is voluntary).
- If participating via Instagram, the user must: a) mention a friend (with their prior consent and knowledge of these conditions), b) follow the official UD Las Palmas Instagram profile, where the Club is promoted and advertising actions are taken, and c) follow the procedure to gather and grant the necessary authorizations.
Each participant is allowed one entry. UD Las Palmas reserves the right to exclude any Contestant who violates good faith norms, engages in deceitful or improper conduct, uses fraudulent means, or breaches these rules.
WINNER SELECTION
The winner will be selected randomly in a private draw. All participants who meet the requirements and are not disqualified will be included.
One (1) winner will be drawn. If the winner cannot be contacted and/or does not confirm their participation, the prize will be deemed void.
WINNER COMMUNICATION
The winner's details or username will be published on the Club’s official Instagram profile and/or UD Las Palmas website on August 23
UD Las Palmas will contact the winner individually to inform them about the prize. The winner must confirm acceptance of the prize and provide their contact details (name and address) by August 23. Failure to respond will be considered a rejection of the prize.
UD Las Palmas is not responsible for being unable to contact the winner due to incorrect data or technical issues. In such cases, the prize will remain unclaimed.
Acceptance of the contest and prize by the winner implies consent for UD Las Palmas to use their name and image in promotional materials related to this Contest.
ACCEPTANCE OF CONTEST TERMS
Participation in the Contest implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions by each Contestant.
UD Las Palmas will not be liable if the Contest cannot be carried out as specified due to external causes or force majeure, other than publishing new mechanics through similar channels.
CONFIDENTIALITY OBLIGATION
All winners, by participating in this Contest, agree to keep confidential any data or information accessed during the Contest, regardless of the format.
This obligation will remain in effect throughout the Contest process and even after its conclusion.
RESPONSIBILITY
UD Las Palmas is not responsible for:
- Any non-compliance or infringements related to this Contest and is exempt from liability for any losses suffered by Contestants related to the prize or other Contest aspects.
- Improper use of the prizes by the winners.
- Errors in the data provided by the winner that prevent their identification.
- Postal or communication network issues that affect the Contest.
- Any damages or losses due to temporary unavailability or discontinuity of the participating services or issues with internet access or communication.
- Contestants are responsible for obtaining consent from friends mentioned in their messages.
UD Las Palmas reserves the right to:
- Modify or suspend the Contest for justified reasons or force majeure, with prior communication of new terms and/or cancellation.
- Change the prize to one of equal or higher value if necessary.
- Extend or modify the Contest period and interpret these terms.
- Shorten, extend, modify, or cancel the Contest if exceptional circumstances arise, ensuring no harm to Contestants.
- Exclude any user who disrupts or impairs the Contest’s proper functioning.
PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation and applicable national laws, we inform you that if you provide personal data, UNIÓN DEPORTIVA LAS PALMAS, S.A.D. (UD), with the address above and email info@udlaspalmas.es, is responsible for processing personal data to manage participation and the Contest.
UD will process personal data for conducting the Contest, verifying requirements, contacting you if you win, and managing the prize. Data processing is based on consent, so please ensure you and others are aware of the conditions before participating.
Personal data will be retained for as long as necessary for the Contest and its justification and will be deleted when no longer needed.
